Public Access Computer (PAC) and WiFi Regulations
1. PAC and WiFi users must check in at the circulation desk before accessing the library’s computers or booting up their own equipment.
2. PAC users can log in for a 45 minute session. Additional sessions may be available if no one else is waiting for a PAC.
3. No bookmarking web pages on PACs.
4. No saving or downloading files to the hard drives of PACs.
5. PAC users are responsible for any personal orders or purchases placed with Internet vendors.
6. The Library does not offer email accounts; users can check their email at mail2web.com.
7. Printing: Black and white--$.15/page. Color: $.25/page. Additional black and white copies must be made on the photocopy machine at $.15/page.
8. PAC users must respect the policies, rights, and conventions of all organizations and users must not send mass unsolicited mailings (spam), and must not access any systems for which access has not been authorized.
9. Library computers or computers/laptops brought in may not be used for illegal activities or to access offensive or sexually explicit materials. Violations may result in revocation of access and/or appropriate legal action.
10. Users who abuse regulations or equipment will find their access terminated immediately. Users will be held responsible for any damage to the equipment caused by misuse. Malicious damage to equipment will result in suspension of library privileges and/or prosecution on criminal charges.
