The Library Quilt Is Here!
FOL Raffle Grand Prize Now On Display Come in to the Hamel Meeting Room and see the spectacular quilt that the Friends of the Library are raffling off to help raise funds for a new library! Librarian Lindalee Lambert and former library Trustee Marsha Hunter worked "together apart" to create an original work of art that calls to mind the lake, the woods, the seasons, our town, and of course, our library. The handmade quilt, measuring 80" x 104", is 100% cotton and can be machine washed and dried. Tickets are $5.00 apiece or three for $10.00, and available at the library circulation desk or from any FOL Board member. The drawing for the Library Quilt will be held Saturday, September 20th at the Friends' Annual Meeting.

What Does Your Library Mean To You?
TFL Patrons Speak Out! The Tuftonboro Free Library continues to enrich our family's life. Its many services have provided a backbone to our intellectual, educational, and cultural activities in Tuftonboro and at home. As a family with young children, we adore story hour, free passes to museums, audio books, videos, as well as an unimaginable amount of books. As we work our way alphabetically through the picture books, we read over 50 new books a week. The TFL also provides for many of my own intellectual needs with its selection of fiction, nonfiction, and special orders. Without the TFL, we could never afford to provide such a rich learning environment for our family.
I strongly believe that in a democracy the availability of information to all citizens is essential and that we, as a community, have a responsibility to uphold such a rich, wonderful, and welcoming center. Please support the Tuftonboro Free Library so that all citizens of Tuftonboro can reap the many rewards it has to offer.
